2023 Partners

The Paul and Susan Bloom Family Fund generously donated $83,000 to complete our in-shelter veterinary suite (to be completed in 2023!) and fund 2 additional daily care staff members through 2023. Dr. Paul and Susan Bloom are dedicated supporters to Bark Nation and have assisted us with our mission to #enddogfigthing throughout the years.

WAG Animal Rescue supported our mission to end reckless canine fornication in the most epic way possible by sponsoring 25 sterilizations for cruelty survivors during this years Sex and the Pitties event!

Positive Step Foundation supported our mission to end reckless canine fornication in the most epic way possible by sponsoring 50 sterilizations for owned, Detroit dogs through our Project Grace initiative!

2022 Partners

  • Bissell Pet Foundation awarded Bark Nation a $20,000 matching grant to support the survivors of the Great 108. Bissell Pet Foundation aims to support programs and initiatives that are focused on addressing the pet overpopulation crisis in our country through funding for pet adoption, spay/neuter, microchipping and emergencies.

  • Stand Up for Pits Foundation is is a life-saving supporter of Bark Nation’s Pitness Protection Project and has sponsored over 250 sterilizations for owned pit bull type pups in Detroit through their Spay/Neuter ANGEL Day, as well as awarded Bark Nation a $20,000 grant to support the Great 108!.

  • Pit Bull Rescue Central awarded Bark Nation a $10,000 grant to continue our lifesaving work to end dog fighting. Their mission is to help relieve the suffering and prevent cruelty to dogs identified as pit bulls and mixes thereof, through the public dissemination of educational information and spay/neuter grants.

  • Bark Nation was awarded a grant from Friends for Pets Foundation to assist with overall costs associated with our Pitness Protection program. FFP’s mission is to assist dogs abandoned, mistreated, neglected.
