Butterball is looking for a foster/adoptive home through Home Fur-Ever Rescue – www.homefurever.com
Butterball was rescued out of an abandoned house in Detroit, MI by a volunteer with Home Fur-Ever Rescue. He had been attacked by another dog(s), and sustained layers of severe trauma – some old, some new. His spirit was shot – we was fearful, slightly reactive, extremely painful and in a state of constant discomfort. After a 4 day stay at the vet, Bark Nation accepted him onto #TeamZomo for a 12 day stay to decompress, learn kind human touch and provide a safe, secure environment for him as he underwent some much needed healing. Butterball is now at Shores Kennels [www.shoreskennels.com], receiving daily training and socialization while he undergoes heartworm treatment and awaits a long-term foster or adoptive home. He is an absolute LOVE, and epitomizes the resiliency of our beloved bullies – what a beautiful, forgiving, loving soul.
